A local metal fabricator company is looking for a Production Mig Welder. Candidate must submit a resume and will need to interview. Associate must bring their own welding helmet and STB for a quick weld test during interview.

Location: Mansfield

Pay: $16/hr + $200 Employee Bonus Promotion *Visit our website for promotional rules*

Schedule: 7am-3:30pm M-F

Responsibilities

• Welder: Welds together metal components of products with electric arc-welding equipment (MIG).
• Manually guides electrode or gun along the weld line, maintaining length of arc and speed of movement to form specified depth of fusion and bead, as judged from color of metal, sound of weld, and size of molten puddle.
• Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical, or overhead positions.
• Inspects weld for bead size and other specifications.
• Positions and clamps work pieces together or assembles them in a jig or fixture.
• Tacks assemblies together.
• Ability to perform all operations within acceptable quality and time standards

Skills

• Must have experience with Mig welding
• Must pass welding test
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Meet standards of safety and cleanliness
