Job Description
Local company is looking for a Press Set up/Die Setter. Candidate will be responsible for producing products with the required dimensions and print tolerances.
Location: Mansfield
Pay: $16 + $200 Employee Bonus Promotion *Visit our website for promotional rules*
Schedule: 7am-3:30pm M-F
Responsibilities
- Setting-up and operating power shear to cut metal objects, such as plates and sheets, to specified dimensions and angles following the requirements of the job traveler
- Setup and operate stamping dies to produce parts to print tolerances
- Monitors equipment for proper operation and reports any malfunctions or problems to supervisor and maintenance.
Skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to read blueprints
- Ability to use measuring equipment
- Experience using Power Shear
- Ability to follow safety standards and company procedures
Education and/or Experience
- 1 year manufacturing experience preferred
