Job Description
A local manufacturing company is looking to fill a Machinist position. You will be responsible for all aspects of secondary work and machining of parts.
Location: Mansfield
Pay: $14-$16 BOE + $200 Employee Bonus Promotion *Visit our website for promotional rules*
Schedule: 7:30am-4pm M-F
Responsibilities
- Forming, reaming, tapping, countersinking, deburring, painting, coining.
- Die and fixture making for use in hand/hydraulic presses, Bridgeport and CNC.
- Perform all aspects of machine shop duties, other duties as required.
- Check dimensions with precision measuring instruments.
- Carry out basic machine maintenance.
Skills
- Ability to read and understand blueprints.
- Ability to follow engineering drawings and instructions.
- Excellent math and technical skills.
- Ability to operate all types of machine shop equipment.
- Ability to measure with precision measuring instrument.
Education and/or Experience
- High School diploma/GED
- 5 yrs experience in machine shop
